How Wipeout Got Started
In December of 2005, Kourtney and MacKenzie started taking lessons from Joe's Music. That's where they met Emma. The three girls played in a talent show together in March of '06. Emma on lead guitar, MacKenzie on bass guitar, and Kourtney on the drums. They played the song "Wipeout" and won a 1st place award at the Bruce Talent Show. That is how the band got started, and how they got their name. Emma is no longer with the band, but we have since added a vocalist, Amanda, and an awesome lead guitar--Katie, and our "little BB (backup bass) Allye.

Keep up the hard work, it shows. I can tell you from experience that the more you practice the better you will get. Don't give up when the going gets tough. Keep a strong bond with each other and it will show in your music.
